Women's Ministry Unlimited
Each woman at Glad Tidings must understand she is hand picked by God, situated in Christ’s body just as He desires, and indispensable in reaching her particular sphere of influence for Christ. Through Women’s Ministries Unlimited, every woman who is a believer can find a place to begin her Christian walk, a place to become all that God has planned and purposed for her and a place where she can belong, connected to other women of her unique generation and diverse culture!
Our Purpose
The purpose of Women's Ministries is to create a place to blend together all the talents and abilities of women in the church in order to develop:
A Place to Begin - Women need a place to begin their walk with God. Women's Ministries is a safe place for new believers and struggling believers to learn how to really live the life.
A Place to Become - Women desire to discover and fulfill the purpose for which they were created. Women's Ministries provides a place where the Holy Spirit can begin to transform women into the image of Christ.
A Place to Belong - Women long for a place to belong. Women's Ministries creates a secure place to satisfy a woman's need for friendship and relationship.

Events
- Ladies Bible Study—Tuesdays 7:00pm in Fellowship Hall - Will resume in the Fall-Details TBA
- Girlfriends-1st Saturday night of each month-"Girlfriends" meet once a month for dinner and fellowship. Dinner is usually followed by a time of sharing prayer requests, praying for one another and a devotion geared toward single women. After the devotion there is time for games, fellowship and building new friendships. Our vision for this group is that single women would know they have true friends who will pray for them and be there for them - even if it's just to talk about the rough day they just had.
Shut-in Ministry
Shut-in Ministry is about ministering and being ministered to by our Shut-ins.
- You will have one or two shut-ins to visit. This is up to you.
- Visit them at least six times a year, one time on birthday (or as close to it as you can).The time and day is up to you. Please record visit in log at church.
- Give or send them a card or note every month. Don’t give gifts.
- Learn to listen
- Talk about past and ask them to tell you stories. You can pray with them or read the Bible.
- Let them know how long you can stay when you get there. This is up to you.
- If they ask you to do things for them that are not reasonable, tell caregiver or let the church office know.
